BISHKEK, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) — Chinese President Xi Jinping and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov signed a bilateral treaty on permanent good‑neighbourliness, friendship and cooperation on Monday in Bishkek, cementing the two countries’ long‑standing alliance.
During the signing ceremony, President Xi remarked that the treaty will provide an important legal foundation for China and Kyrgyzstan to maintain their longstanding friendship and firm mutual support. The agreement formalises the commitment of both governments to deepen cooperation across a range of areas.
President Japarov added that the treaty will open broader prospects for bilateral relations, signalling a willingness to expand collaboration in future projects and initiatives between the two nations.
